Job Description

  • Assist the Site Engineer in reviewing construction drawings, general notes, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Prepare and update layout plans and assist with site measurements and technical requirements.
  • Supervise daily construction activities and inspect structural and architectural works.
  • Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate daily manpower allocation and monitor site workforce activities.
  • Monitor incoming materials and ensure materials are properly received and used at the project site.
  • Follow up on subcontractor work progress and payment-related documentation.
  • Ensure workers follow approved method statements, workplace safety procedures, and site regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to Junior Engineers and site workers when required.
  • Coordinate with the M&E Department and other relevant project teams.
  • Prepare detailed daily site reports and maintain proper project documentation.
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction or civil engineering works.
  • Experience in site supervision, structural, architectural, or finishing works is preferred.
  • Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
  • Basic knowledge of site measurement, layout planning, and construction methods.
  • Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures and method statements.
  • Able to monitor manpower, materials, and daily site activities.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication, coordination, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work at construction sites and under pressure.
