Job Description

Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Chinese dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Maintain inventory of Chinese ingredients and request replenishment as needed.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in Chinese cuisine preparation techniques.
Collaborate with Head Chef / Sous Chef on menu development and special promotions.
Monitor food portion control, wastage, and cost efficiency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Chinese kitchen section.
Adhere to all company policies, food safety regulations, and operational standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chinese Chef in hotels, restaurants, or specialty dining establishments.
Deep knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, and traditional dishes.
Leadership skills to manage junior staff and coordinate kitchen operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain consistency in food quality.
Culinary certification or formal training in Chinese cuisine preferred.
