Job Description

  • Supervise the daily installation works of all M&E systems, including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Sanitary, and Fire Protection.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship aligns with engineering standards, project requirements, and approved shop drawings.
  • Manage testing, commissioning, and final handover activities of all M&E installations.
  • Review, interpret, and cross-check M&E drawings, technical specifications, and material submissions.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to align workflows.
  • Attend site meetings to provide technical support, resolve engineering issues, and monitor subcontractor performance.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking M&E activities against the master project timeline to mitigate potential delays.
  • Assist with material planning, quantity verification, and reviewing subcontractor shop drawings.
  • Identify potential site risks, recommend corrective actions, and support the implementation of site safety procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports, project documentation, and daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
  • Ensure all on-site operations strictly comply with workplace safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of the (3) years of active experience in M&E works within the construction industry.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Building Services Engineering (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Sanitary, and Fire Protection Systems).
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Excellent ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
  • Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player.
  • Resilient and capable of working under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
