Job Description

Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods.
Ensure warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Plan and control inventory levels to minimize stock shortages, damages, and losses.
Supervise warehouse staff, assign duties, monitor performance, and provide necessary training.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Maintain accurate warehouse records, stock reports, and documentation.
Implement effective warehouse layout, space utilization, and workflow improvements.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of all materials and assets.
Monitor operational costs and support cost-control initiatives.
Handle operational issues, discrepancies, and customer or internal complaints related to warehouse activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and people-management skills.
Good knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse management practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
