New A1 Family Co., Ltd. began as a broker’s sales center in 1982, trading chili and onion in Myittar Township, Myanmar. Over the years, the business expanded to include other crops like cotton, pulses, and turmeric. With branches in several towns and a strong distribution network across Myanmar and into China, the company has grown significantly. In 2013, New A1 Family Co., Ltd. was officially formed to align with Myanmar’s modern market economy, with its head office in Mandalay and a factory in Kumae, a key region for chili and onion cultivation.
The company is now focusing on producing safe, healthful chili powder and spices free from harmful substances like aflatoxins, which have raised health concerns. Their vision includes promoting consumer health, exporting premium products, supporting local farmers through contract farming and education, and reducing dependence on imported culinary goods. Their goal is to create sustainable growth while uplifting farming communities.
